Sr. Expert Power Modules
Kirill Klein gained Bachelor and Master degrees at TU Berlin with focus on high-frequency and semiconductor technology in 2012.
He works since 2013 as a scientific assistant at Fraunhofer IZM with focus on designing fast switching power modules as multidisciplinary task in terms of electro-magnetic, thermo-mechanic, system integration, and manufacturing optimization. This comprises the development of design methodologies as well as manufacturing coordination. Developing switching characterization methods and working out future power module concepts completes his work
Mr. Klein will finish his PhD on Design and Characterization of power modules in 2020.
He has won the Young Engineer Award of PCIM Europe 2020 for his paper on “Low Inductive Full Ceramic SiC Power Module for High-Temperature Automotive Applications”.
