Honeywell introduces software designed to simplify, strengthen, and scale cybersecurity for asset-intensive businesses and critical infrastructures threatened by cyber threats.

The software makes vulnerabilities and threats visible

The Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity Platform is designed to improve the performance of cybersecurity for enterprises across multiple sites by identifying and exposing vulnerabilities and threats. This reduces risk and increases the management effectiveness of cybersecurity, the company said. The software is part of Honeywell Forge for Cybersecurity's portfolio of products and services designed to enhance cybersecurity in industrial environments.

Meet cybersecurity requirements with the software

The platform securely transfers data from one location to another and uses operational data to improve endpoint and network security. At the same time, it ensures compliance with cybersecurity requirements. The platform also provides a scalable software solution to better address cybersecurity issues in OT and IIoT environments.

The product is available in three versions:

Enterprise Core: Version for the high demand for cross-location connectivity

For customers with a high need for cross-location connectivity, the Enterprise Core version is designed to provide the essential critical factors for managing cybersecurity operations. For this purpose, the version features Secure Remote Access with advanced fine-grained controls designed for industrial environments and secure content transfer with integrated, file-based threat detection.

Enterprise Premium: version with cybersecurity asset management

In addition to the features of Enterprise Core, Enterprise Premium also provides cybersecurity asset management. These include asset discovery and inventory, continuous monitoring and alerting, software patching and antivirus management, and risk and compliance management for remediation and mitigation.

Site: Single-site version

For customers who want to explore selected platform features at a single site level, the site offers includes asset discovery and inventory, continuous monitoring and threat warning, and risk and compliance management.

Strengthen Security and Asset Management

Based on globally deployed technology in thousands of buildings, the platform improves cybersecurity by providing users with the tools they need to strengthen their security measures and asset management through a single dashboard. Also, cross-site and cross-service functions support an enterprise-wide solution with higher efficiency and lower total cost of ownership, regardless of the control system used, the company describes the benefits.

Cybersecurity Software as a Service

Customers who do not have the expertise or resources to deploy the software can host and run it through the company's Managed Security Services. Cybersecurity offers consulting services through experts in industrial cybersecurity around the world.

The platform is part of Honeywell Forge, a category of software solutions that provide enterprise performance management for aerospace, building, industrial, and employee operations technology (OT). The category was introduced earlier this year to optimize the collection, analysis, and evaluation of data across a wide range of organizations.
